An aerospace and defense company is seeking a Logistics Engineering Specialist to support an expanding product portfolio at its Sterling, VA facility. Schedule: 9/80 (every other Friday off).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support an efficient PHS&T system, getting material to the right place at the right time
• Work daily with the PHS&T Lead and IPT Lead
• Perform asset and equipment audits on customer and company property
• Plan and report on packing material availability
• Process, track, and close out shipments to and from customer sites, depot, and OEMs
• Track supply movement from stock rooms to field operations
• Support depot operations and innovate asset and spares tracking
• Support obsolescence mitigation, component inspection, and training events
• Lift up to 45 lbs

REQUIRED

• BS + 4 years, MS + 2 years, or 8 years related experience in lieu of degree
• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly (screening question: active poly required)

PREFERRED

• Sunflower EAM experience
• Forklift certification
• MS Office proficiency; detail oriented, self-starter, strong communicator
